Every year the second weekend in June is Operation Trackshoes. I look forward to this all year, it is so fun! It is a little bit like an "escape" from my normal life as I get to help out at this sports festival for people who have different disabilities. My friend Rob took photos at the event. These are a few of my favorites.
A couple of amazing facts about Trackshoes this year ..... we had about 540 competitors and around 600 volunteers ..... a huge event! .... yet there were almost 100 people that we had to say couldn't come because we didn't have enough counselors to support them, so if you think you'd enjoy something like this please volunteer next year. It will be the 40th year.
Oh, we always need more volunteers so if you want to know how you can have this much fun just ask me and I'll tell you more than you ever wanted to know :)

Lovely to read your comment. Thank you. Great reading about your beautiful family and how God has been leading you in His faithfulness as you trust in Him. It is a testimony to me. I look forward to reading your updates in the future.

Mmmm...my whole being wants to be there. That looks perfect.
Heidi, In so many ways it is just that, perfect ..... and the good news is that maybe you can be here next year! It is always held the second weekend in June and we can ALWAYS use more people volunteering, especially people with as much experience as you have ..... I would LOVE to see you here next year!!
