Sawyer sat in the exersaucer for the first time. He seemed to like being upright and watching the action all around him.

An Indoor Family Fun Day
For our raining day family fun day Art teacher Anthony did some painting with the boys.

Winnipeg Egg Hunt
We had an Easter egg hunt today. It sure is funny watching the boys miss the most obvious eggs. It is such a pleasure being their mom.

Days Like This
I LOVE days like today was. That might have to do with the fact that I slept quite well last night (thank you Sawyer!). The boys and I went to the Beacon Hill Children's Farm, played at the Beacon Hill Playground (and Riley peed on the potty here), we did a couple of errands (one of which was buying eggs at a little elderly lady's home, which are GREAT), dropped Tyler off at preschool (Riley peed on the potty here), went grocery shopping where Tyler, Riley and I each got our own shopping carts!! (very adventurous ;) ) (and Riley peed on the potty here), came home and the boys played outside together while I made dinner. . . and all these amazing things happened without a single fight !! Yay!!! After supper a little skirmish happened and Riley bit Tyler, opps, he felt terrible. Then park time with Daddy (Riley peed on a tree), bath time, stories and bedtime. All in all a good day all done with dry underwear.

Friends
Tyler and Riley have fun playing with Zach and Owen. Yesterday we played "girls vs. boys" football. The girls were Erin (Owen's Mom) and I. The boys were Tyler, Zach, Riley and Owen. It was really fun. As you can tell from this picture I played quite well. I had all 3 balls!!!! I figure that I don't have very much time where this will get to happen in my life (having all of the footballs that is - I'm sure there will be many more football games).

I LOVE My Boys
People often ask me if I wish that I had a girl, or they say things like "I bet you were trying for a girl" or "So, are going to try for one more to see if you are successful this time?". Here is my answer for all of those questions, "NO! I love my boys and I think that we were pretty successful the last three attempts, can you see my three beautiful blessings?" I feel so blessed with these gifts that God has given us!

Nap Time
Just thought I'd let you know that we just completed our very first super-successful family nap time!!! (Well, Cory's in class. . . ) The boys and I each slept for at least 2 hours at the same time. We all plan on doing this trick several times every week.

"She said she loves me, Mom"
We were out last night and Riley had his first encounter with a girl that "loves him". She was a cute little girl about two months older than Riley and after meeting him she promptly hugged him and proclaimed, "I love you". Riley responded by hugging back and with a shy, "I love you too". After they were done hugging he ran over to me with stars in his eyes and said, "Mom, she LOVES me". He continued to talk about the girl that loves him for the rest of the evening, it was very cute.
Whose Child Is This?
Something odd has happened to my four-year old. Over the past month he has begun to make his bed almost everytime he gets out of it. I'm not sure where he learnt this habit. . . he has also taken it upon himself to remind me almost daily that I need to make MY bed. Who is guilty of teaching him this?????

Potty Training Made Fun

Riley is more and more consistantly using the toilet!!! He seems to be motivated by the fact that if he wants to go to preschool like Tyler he needs to always use the "potty" and not wear diapers. Yesterday he decided that he should probably ditch the potty seat too, afterall, Tyler came home from preschool and told him that there are no potty seats at preschool. Whatever it takes! We'd love to have only one in diapers at a time.
